Welcome to North-East Tanzania Conference
On behalf of North-East Tanzania Conference (NETC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, I would like to introduce you to our new Website. Feel welcome and free to browse.
Premises:Our Church Headquarters are located at Same near Elephant Motel,
P.O. Box 315, Same, Tanzania.
As part of the World Church observing the Biblical Sabbath – the Seventh-day of the week as stipulated in Exodus 20: 8 - 11, which was institute since the creation of the world, we have every reason to thank God for His many blessings, which we have enjoyed during our past and present experiences with Him through His Holy Spirit.
Our Mission:The Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Tanzania is to proclaim to all peoples the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angels’ messages of Revelation 14:6 – 12, leading them to accept Jesus Christ as personal Savior and to unite with His church, and nurturing them in preparation for His soon return.
Our Method:We pursue this mission under the guidance of the Holy Spirit through:
1. Preaching:Accepting Christ’s commission (Matt 28:18 – 20), we proclaim to the entire world the message of a loving God, most full revealed in His Son’s reconciling ministry and atoning death. Recognizing the Bible to be God’s infallible revelation of His will, we present its full message, including the Second Advent of Christ and the continuing Authority of His Ten Commandments law with its reminder of the seventh day Sabbath.
2. Teaching:Acknowledging that development of mind and character is essential to God’s redemptive plan, we promote the growth of a mature understanding of the relationship to God, His Word, and the created universe.
3. Healing:Affirming the Biblical emphasis on the well being of the whole person, we make the preservation of health and the healing of the sick a priority and through our ministry to the poor and oppressed, cooperate with the Creator in His compassionate work of restoration.
4. Nurturing:Upholding the scriptural instruction to feed the flock (John 21:15 – 17, 1 Peter 5:2), we make the church a storehouse of godly nourishment through the Word that will promote and sustain the spiritual development of every belier in Christ.
Our Vision:In harmony with the great prophecies of the Scriptures, we see as the climax of God’s plan the restoration of all His creation to full harmony, with His perfect will and righteousness.
